Boyacá Bridge
The Boyacá Bridge is one of Colombia's most important patriotic sanctuaries and historical landmarks. Declared a National Monument, it was the scene of the decisive battle on August 7, 1819, which consolidated the country's independence. Surrounded by peaceful Andean landscapes and ample green areas, this heritage complex integrates the iconic bridge over the Teatinos River, the monumental sculptural ensemble to Simón Bolívar, the Obelisk, and the Flame of Liberty. It is a must-stop on the Boyacense route to connect with history, walk outdoors, and enjoy a family outing.
